Bordeaux University recruits for the UMR5296:
A software development engineer (BAP E, E2B22).
Analysis, development and test of software tools for brain image processing and analysis; interaction with the project leader; maintenance and upgrade.
Define software technical specifications. Define the hardware and the software architecture according to the context. Develop all or parts of software. Assemble together software components. Integrate and define the parameters of the used software packages. Write documentation (developer, user and exploitation).
Benchmarking, installation, assistance, and training. Software maintenance.
General knowledge in computer science. Programming language (C/C ++ / Perl / python) and interpreted language (Matlab). Knowledge on database management languages (PHP, MySQL, application, Web). Knowledge on operating systems Unix/Linux. Notion of distributed programming.
Software analysis and design method. Programming methods and techniques. Conception and draft of a technical document adapted to different users (their use and language). Quality standards in programming.
Degree required, training and professional experience desirable:
Engineering school or Master degree in Computer science with specializations in computer science and / or image processing. Experience in software development.
Place of work:
IBIO building (ground floor) in the premises of UMR5296.
Temporary position as an Engineer studies, one year renewable. Taking office on 1 January 2012
