I’m a Postdoctoral Researcher in cognitive neuroscience, working at the cross-road of cognitive and evolutionary neuroscience
My primary objective is to understand how brain structure determines function and behavior, across individuals and species. In particular, I’m interested in questions concerning the interaction and specialization of the two cerebral hemispheres; why the brain displays an increasingly asymmetric organization over the course of evolution; and how functional lateralization relates to structural asymmetries and connections between the two brain halves.
Scientific domains: cognitive neuroscience, Interhemispheric interactions, hemispheric asymmetries, brain evolution, individual differences.
Methods: structural & functional MRI, EEG & computational models.
